Grant & Eisenhofer P.A.

Grant & Eisenhofer P.A. is a national litigation boutique that concentrates on federal securities and corporate governance litigation. G&E exclusively represents institutional investors, both public and private, who have been damaged by corporate fraud, greed and mismanagement. The firm has been named as one of the Top firms for shareholder recovery by Institutional Shareholder Services, twice placed on the National Law Journal’s Plaintiffs’ Hot List and is listed as one of America's Leading Business Lawyers by Chambers and Partners, who reported that G&E "commanded respect for its representation of institutional investors in shareholder and derivative actions, and in federal securities fraud litigation." G&E’s partners have authored the best selling Shareholder Activism Handbook – the definitive resource describing the tools available to shareholders to enable them to become effective overseers of American corporations. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, and New York City, G&E routinely represents clients in federal and state courts throughout the country.

Firm History

G&E was founded in 1997 by Jay W. Eisenhofer and Stuart M. Grant, formerly the resident litigation partners of Philadelphia-based Blank Rome Comisky & McCauley. Prior to that, they had been litigators in the Wilmington office of the nationally prominent firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Over the years, the firm’s partners have gained international reputations in securities and corporate litigation. In addition to testifying on behalf of institutional investors before the SEC and various judicial commissions, they frequently write and speak on securities and corporate governance issues. In its ten years representing institutional investors in over one hundred cases, the firm has achieved stellar results for its clients.

Our Track Record Speaks for Itself:

  • $300+ million settlement from DaimlerChrysler Corporation

  • G&E continues to shape corporate governance law through teaching, writing, testimony and advocacy on behalf of the institutional investor community
