Grant & Eisenhofer P.A. (“G&E”) is a national litigation boutique that concentrates on securities, corporate governance, false claims, antitrust, bankruptcy, and consumer litigation as well as other complex class actions. In over seventeen years representing institutional investors in more than one hundred cases, the firm has consistently achieved stellar results for its clients.
G&E’s knowledge of and experience in the law regarding securities litigation, derivative litigation, and corporate governance matters are truly second to none. In both class action and “opt out” cases, the Firm has attracted widespread recognition for protecting investors’ rights and recovering their damages. The Firm has been lead counsel in many of the largest securities class action recoveries in U.S. history, including a $3.2 billion recovery against Tyco International, and multi-hundred million dollar recoveries against companies such as General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, and Royal Dutch Shell.
For the last ten years, G&E has been named one of the nation’s top plaintiffs firms by The National Law Journal in the annual “Plaintiffs’ Hot List,” and in 2008, earned a place in The National Law Journal’s “Plaintiffs’ Hot List Hall of Fame.” The Firm has twice been ranked by RiskMetrics Group for securing the highest average investor recovery in securities class actions.
G&E was founded in 1997 by two entrepreneurial attorneys, Jay Eisenhofer and Stuart Grant, who saw an opportunity to forge a new path in the litigation landscape for institutional investors. Since that time, the Firm has grown exponentially, representing institutional investors in over 100 cases, adding 140 new employees, and expanding its practice offerings from securities litigation and corporate governance litigation to include antitrust litigation, bankruptcy litigation, false claims litigation, and consumer litigation.
