For women in ideal circumstances, giving birth can be a magical experience, one of the best days of their lives. But for some women, due to negligence, carelessness or a simple lack of care, that day can become a nightmare. I can’t undo what happened. But I can try to give these families back their power, and the chance to salvage their lives.
Overview
Shreena Amin represents children and families in birth injury and birth trauma litigation.
Prior to joining G&E, Ms. Amin gained substantial experience as a civil litigator representing clients in catastrophic personal injury, mass torts, medical malpractice, and other complex litigation matters – including on the defense side – for almost a decade.
Her prior work, which included the infant formula NEC cases and complex asbestos matters, provided Shreena with a very strong foundation of medical knowledge, and trained her to run a file from pleadings through discovery and trial. Her familiarity navigating exposures (including alternate exposures), causation, criteria for diagnosis and ongoing likely problems, also finely tuned her settlement strategy and calculation skills.
