Craig

Clients appreciate that I am direct and transparent, and that I give them a clear and realistic assessment of their case without any sugar-coating or false promises. But they will also find me to be empathetic and compassionate, never losing sight of them as individuals in even the largest cases comprising thousands of litigants.

Overview

Daniel Craig focuses his practice on mass tort litigation and complex catastrophic cases.

In his work on mass tort cases, Daniel works in both a strategic and supervisory role to ensure that individual cases are reviewed, properly categorized and assessed for what claimants might qualify for and be entitled to by way of relief. After setting realistic expectations on a case’s front end, he keeps clients regularly updated on status and, at a case’s conclusion, notifies clients of and answers any questions pertaining to their settlements or other recovery.

For catastrophic cases—while handling matter intake, staying on top of discovery, and keeping matters both organized and moving forward on schedule—Daniel additionally takes depositions, and drafts and argues motions in discovery court.

Prior to joining G&E, Daniel worked at a Philadelphia law firm representing clients in catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice and civil rights matters. And before that, he worked as a print journalist and on local radio in Philadelphia. Arguably even more than law school, these work experiences trained him to speak persuasively to all types of people, even when those conversations are hard, and honed both his writing skills and his ability to tell a story. After all, as he puts it, “At the end of the day, everyone’s case is a story.”

Outside the Office

I am a fanatical Philadelphia sports fan. I practice archery at a local range in Philadelphia. I love reading, specifically horror books. And I also enjoy cooking, especially conceiving of my own recipes. (I am known for making a mean spicy sausage pasta.)
