Kapsack

Complete preparation for trial often does not survive the reality of the courtroom. You must be prepared for the unexpected. While challenging, these moments are often the most rewarding, allowing me to leverage my experience for the benefit of my clients.

Overview

With experience as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and civil litigator (on both the plaintiff and defense side), Joanne Kapsack brings a broad, practical understanding of all aspects of litigation tailored to each client’s specific needs.

Along with trying cases, Joanne has handled every aspect of trial preparation —from taking and defending depositions, preparing direct and cross examination, reviewing and summarizing depositions, document review, and overseeing all other aspects of discovery.

Through those experiences, Joanne has developed an ability to identify key issues, assess evidence, and recognize privileged material. Her diverse background enables her to approach each case with strong legal insight, critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strategic value.

I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t laugh.

Outside the Office

I am an avid reader and my favorite authors include Maya Angelou, Wally Lamb, Kristin Hannah and Dr. Seuss. I love to travel any place with a warm beach, clear water and good food.
