AUD $110 Million Settlement Reached in BHP Class Action

G&E, along with co-counsel, reached a settlement with BHP Group Ltd. in Australia, which agreed to pay AUD $110 million to BHP shareholders. The resolution settles seven years of litigation in three courts after the deadly 2015 Fundão tailings dam collapse in Brazil. This settlement is one of the largest settlements in Australia to date.
