Bonifacic

Overview

Simona Bonifacic provides key litigation support to the firm’s international securities litigation team, conducting legal research on international law, reviewing discovery and other documents, and identifying critical facts in preparation for deposition or trial.

When Simona first joined the firm, almost 20 years ago, she built upon her previous experience as corporate counsel to support the firm’s corporate class actions and litigation involving securities, antitrust and breach of corporate fiduciary duty. She also managed the firm’s contractor attorney groups.

Several years ago, Simona transitioned into the firm’s complex pharmaceutical and medical device litigation (mass tort) team, assisting with case evaluations, intakes, fact-gathering and case set-up for thousands of clients. In this senior team role, she has mentored new associates and provided guidance to paralegals and client intake specialists.

Detail-oriented and tech-savvy, Simona not only quickly understands how a specific software product works, but often also how it can be improved. She excels at simplifying complex concepts, a skill which is often beneficial to both clients and staff.
