Fisch

The current political climate makes it all the more important that investors recognize their power and have access to counsel who are persistent, creative and pragmatic. These are qualities that I strive to bring to the table.

Overview

Karin E. Fisch offers more than 30 years of litigation experience. Since joining the Firm in 2021, she has focused her practice primarily on representing investors in 10(b) securities fraud matters.

Upon graduating from law school, Karin went to work for one of the early pioneers in class action securities litigation. For the next 25 years, she focused on complex securities class action matters, as well as corporate governance and M&A litigation in the Delaware Chancery Court. She also gained significant experience in other types of class actions, including antitrust, ERISA and employment cases, in which she represented a wide range of clients, including victims of the Madoff scandal, independent drug stores, participants in and beneficiaries of employee healthcare plans, employees of major U.S. restaurants and retailers, and victims of predatory lenders.

When her previous firm wound down in 2021, Karin joined G&E to oversee some of the firm’s 10(b) cases, as well as to consult with other practice groups about opportunities and techniques for utilizing the class structure in other areas of practice. In 2025, Karin assumed formal leadership of the U.S. Securities Litigation team.

In her new role, Karin strives to do more than delegate and float above the fray. She is still in the office almost every day, “hands on, sleeves up,” and works collaboratively with her team. She excels at finessing calm, creative and sensible solutions to complex problems. Believing strongly in the value of “less ego, more empathy,” she also has a knack for bridging gaps—whether between plaintiffs and defendants, or between co-counsel when seeking the best path forward for their clients.

Outside the Office

When I’m not working, I do my best to relax with a good book or a bingeable television series.  I am also trying hard to improve my tennis game, with mixed results to date.  But my absolute favorite downtime activity is spending time with my family.
