Martin

The law allows me to be directly involved in attempting to bring about change and accountability on environmental matters that have the potential to affect us all.

Overview

Ana Martin focuses her litigation practice on environmental matters, primarily involving toxic PCBs and PFAS contamination.

Involved in all aspects of eDiscovery and document review and preparation, she particularly enjoys legal analysis and writing and looks forward to continuing to advance other areas of litigation and trial practice.

Ana came to G&E during law school, initially as an intern. Law school itself, however, reflected a mid-career change, after years conducting quantitative and qualitative research relating to public opinion, markets, product development, public policy, and sustainability issues for government agencies, non-profits, and the private sector, including for Fortune 500 companies. Ana has also taught at the undergraduate level and earned a PhD in political science with a focus on comparative politics and quantitative methods, and completed her dissertation on legislative trends in state-level environmental policies. She viewed law school, and environmental law in particular, as a path to pursue her interest and passion in sustainability.

Outside the Office

I enjoy birdwatching, baking, and spending time with my two tuxedo cats.
