With a focus on complex pharmaceutical and medical device litigation and catastrophic injury, Samantha Mertz handles all phases of mass tort and personal injury litigation from commencement through trial.
Samantha is adept at caring for clients who are at their most vulnerable. Many of her cases have centered around pharmaceuticals and medical devices that have harmed women, children, and other minority groups, including Risperdal, Zofran, Transvaginal Mesh, Essure, PG&E Camp Wildfire, and TDF. She has represented clients in civil rights actions, as well as sexual assault cases involving the Catholic Church and other institutions. Samantha also currently represents victims of cyber-voyeurism and cyber-stalking perpetrated by a University of Maryland Medical Center pharmacist.
