Nelson

My primary motivation for pursuing law was to pursue justice and legal advocacy. At Grant & Eisenhofer, I have found the opportunity to meaningfully advocate for others in that way.

Overview

Cassandra Nelson focuses her practice on birth injury and birth trauma litigation.

First discovering an interest in litigation during law school through mock trial competition, Cassandra pursued personal injury litigation before finding her fit within G&E’s birth injury team, where she has developed a shared passion for the work.

Cassandra drafts motions, opposition memos, discovery requests and responses, and general correspondence. As a passionate writer, she is particularly interested in discovery and other written aspects of litigation.

While in law school, Cassandra authored “Brain-Dead Surrogacy and Testamentary Disposition: Legal Rights over One’s Body for Reproductive Purposes” for Vanderbilt Law Review, for which she also served as Articles Editor.

Areas of Focus

Outside the Office

I love hiking and camping, reading cheesy romance books, and picnicking with my sweet dog Beau.
