Jennifer Sarnelli is of counsel at Grant & Eisenhofer where she focuses on consumer, and securities litigation and corporate governance actions.
Prior to joining G&E, Ms. Sarnelli litigated stockholder and consumer class actions at a New York law firm for 15 years. Representative casework where Ms. Sarnelli has served as co-lead counsel includes:
- In re Cardinal Health Inc. Derivative Litigation (S.D. Ohio), ($124 million settlement);
- In re Renren, Inc. Derivative Litigation (N.Y. Supr., N.Y. Cnty.), ($300 million settlement);
- Rubenstein v. Gonzalez (AbbVie Inc. Securities Litigation) (N.D. Ill.) ($16.75 million settlement);
- In re Apple iPhone 4 Products Litigation (N.D. Cal.) (cash and injunctive relief settlement);
- Marc Opperman et al. v. Kong Technologies, Inc. et al. (Apple App Privacy class action) (N.D. Cal.) ($5.3 million settlement);
- In re Primedia, Inc. Stockholder Litigation (Del. Ch.) ($39 million settlement, 33% above the price accepted by the board); and
- In re Orchard Enterprises, Stockholder Litigation (Del. Ch.) ($10.75 million settlement, a 95% increase above the price accepted by the board).
Ms. Sarnelli previously worked for a class action notice expert where she drafted plain language notices to better inform class members about their legal rights. She also worked for the New Jersey General Assembly, Democratic Office.
Ms. Sarnelli received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law where she was a comments editor for the Seton Hall Law Review, and her B.A. from The American University.
